Inner Wheel Margate supports Hope for Home
Tuesday, Feb 23 2021, 11:52In February 2021 Sarah Burnard, one of our Trustees, was asked to address a meeting of the Inner Wheel, Margate. This group has very kindly offered to try to raise money for Hope for Home once Covid restrictions are eased.
Forthcoming workshop
Thursday, Oct 4 2018, 11:42Our tenth-anniversary workshop, Dementia care at home: working together to get it right, takes place on Tuesday 9th October 2018 at 13:30–16:30.
There will be range of talks by Heather Richardson (Joint Chief Executive, St Christopher's Hospice), Rev. Jonathan Croucher (Vicar of Christ Church, Gipsy Hill), and Trustee Lourdes Colclough (Macmillan Engagement Manager (London)), along with an Expert Panel Discussion including Trustees Linda McEnhill and Dr Adrian Treloar.
This event is held in memory of Thelma Harvey, founding Trustee and Chair of Hope for Home.

New Website for Hope for Home!

The Trustees of Hope for Home are delighted to announce that we have a new website! You can visit it at http://www.hopeforhome.org.uk/.
The new website has a simple look and feel and is designed to reflect our charitable objects – the relief of elderly persons with dementia and/or advance Parkinson's Disease and the relief of their carers, and the advancement of the public's education in this and similar disabilities.
In addition to providing full details of Hope for Home's activities, we hope our new website will be clear, helpful and pleasurable to use for everyone.
